6:00 pm Stockwood
The recipients of the 2006 and 2007 “Battle of the Beatle Bands” at Chicago Fest, Stockwood is the “world’s youngest Beatles tribute band”. At an amazingly young age, these lads bring together their musical proficiency to entertain audiences of varying ages with music that transcends time. People often ask, “Do the boys lip sync?” or “Do they play a CD in the background to help them out?” The answer to both is a resounding NO! All four boys sing and play their musical instruments without accompaniment from anyone or anything. They are friends offstage and have a musical connection in their admiration of The Beatles.
8:30 pm Paul Douglas Band

The Paul Douglas band performs a wide variety of hits - everything from BoDeans and Bon Jovi to Grass Roots and Moody Blues. Dance, sing along or just kick back and enjoy their great sounds. The “Dougies” are seasoned professionals of the local music scene and include Mike Sorensen on drums and vocals, Paul Demske on bass guitar and Tom Iorio on guitar, keyboards and vocals.

11am - RocKollege Student Bands

The RocKollege bands are comprised of students ranging in age from 7 to 16, and a variety of musical backgrounds and tastes. Three bands will be performing songs by artists such as Green Day, Foo Fighters, Evanescence, Paramore and Heart to name a few. Each band has both male and female members, with experience ranging from 2 months to 10 years. They all want the same thing: to rock out and have fun! We look forward to seeing many of them perform in front of an audience for the very first time.
12:00 pm Macyn Taylor

“Sidewalk Superstar” Macyn Taylor is a 13 year old acoustic sensation and vocalist with a big, beautiful voice. She is an accomplished guitarist, mandolin player and banjo picker with extensive musical influences of folk, country, blues, Irish, bluegrass and classic rock. Her repertoire includes John Prine, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Dixie Chicks, Grateful Dead and Robert Johnson. Macyn was awarded the “2007 Woodstock Guitar Champion” and appeared on the HBO half-hour special “The Music In Me”, a documentary which profiled talented young musicians from ages 7 to 11.

2:00 pm T-Man & The Young Guns

T-Man and the Young Guns is a guitar-driven blues band lead the world’s youngest performing blues guitarist, Tallan Latz. Tallan is only 8 years old, but plays like a seasoned veteran. He’s been playing music since the age of 3. When Tallan turned 5 years old, he asked for an electric guitar for Easter after watching a video of Joe Satriani. His influences include Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Buddy Guy, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and Jimmy Page. The Young Guns are Andrew Koenig on electric guitar and vocals (age 16), Chris Kartheiser on bass guitar (age 15) and Dylan Koch (son of Greg Koch) on drums (age 13). This is truly a one-of-a-kind show that you won’t see anywhere else!
4:00 pm Choo Choo Fricats

Choo Choo Fricats perform catchy and melodic original songs lead by singer/guitarist, Janet Aiello along with some of the areas most renowned musicians. Their lineup features members from the original Ashcan School, The Loners and other special guests. You’ll hear rock & roll, pop, jazz improvisations, soul and many other varied styles incorporated into their own original compositions. Their music is appreciated by kids, teens, young adults and even a few octogenarians!
6:00 pm Radioactive Squirrels

Radioactive Squirrels are a Kenosha favorite and best known for their unique, fuel-injected versions of classic rock songs. 1st place winners at Austin’s 2006 Headliner Competition and voted one of the top 10 “Best Band Names” by Chicago DJs Steve Dahl and Buzz Killman, their influences include the Ramones, Violent Femmes, U2, The Doors and Rolling Stones. They’ve opened for regional acts such as Pat McCurdy and Catfight and even shared the stage with the legendary Peter Tork of the Monkees. The Squirrels have headlined at the Brat Stop in Kenosha, Austin’s in Libertyville, Cubby Bear in Chicago and 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, IL. They’ve also performed at festivals such as Harborfest, the Big Fish Bash (formerly Salmon-a-Rama), Woofstock and last year’s Bloomin’ Days. Hey, ho! Let’s go!

Pat McCurdy is a singer-songwriter with an unusual off-beat sense of humor. This national performer is known for his comic lyrics and hilarious observations on life, love and “Vacation with Mom & Dad.” Pat is a two-time Billboard Magazine Merit Award winner and eight time WAMI award winner. He’s recorded with Polygram Publishing with record sales exceeding 250,000. Pat has opened for acts such as the B-52s, Cheap Trick, R.E.M., Marshall Crenshaw, The Beach Boys, John Prine, The Kinks, Kansas, Molly Hatchett, Jefferson Starship, Foreigner, Triumph & Joan Jett.
